All these poster campaigns were aimed at school leavers who were considering their future career choices. In each case, science was presented as offering real world solutions and was not merely a theoretical area in which to study. It had been identified that many students, in the 16-18 year old target audience, did not connect science with being able to have an exciting career that really influenced the world.
