The RT7000 is Recycling Technologies’ proprietary technology which transforms plastic waste into chemical feedstock for plastic re-manufacturing. The machine uses a process called thermal cracking which breaks down plastic polymer chains into shorter chains and monomers through the use of heat in the absence of oxygen.

Connexxions Brand & Media have followed the development of this break-through from it’s inception back in 2013, photographing and filming it for marketing, education and recording keeping.

Connexxions were commissioned to originate the name of this new recycled plastic and came up with its name, Plaxx®, as its composition is largely a wax compound derived from plastic.
